DJ Jon B - Retrospect Vol. 1

I found this link in the 80's Exchange Dance Music board.

Alright folks, I will be releasing a synthpop mix every quarter entitled Retrospect. It's basically a collection oy my favorite new wave songs put together in a 30 minute non-stop mix. I will include a couple Anything Box songs on each volume that I put out. I won't be hiding these all throughout the site, so everyone would get the chance to enjoy them. . . that's all for now.

Weathermen, The - Poison

Tongue-in-cheek 80s EBM pop band, featuring a Belgian pretending to be American - Jean-Marc Lederman (Digital Dance/Fad Gadget/Kid Montana/Jules et Jim) was Patricia Hearst and Jimmyjoe Snark III - & an American, Bruce Geduldig (Tuxedomoon), pretending to be Susanna Stammer and Chuck B. They began working together again in 2003 and released their first album in 12 years, "Deeper with the Weathermen", in 2004.

Welcome

This is a new blog where I will discuss some of my favorite club tunes of the 80's. There was a great Houston club scene in the late 80's that is still talked about to this date. Great clubs popped up around town such as NRG, Xcess and Club 6400. Anyway here is some of the great music played at these awsome clubs.
